Are you a Fashion-Focused individual with an Affinity to Luxury Retail looking for a new challenge?

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager who will be residing in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Director and Retail/Operations Director, he/she will oversee the following regions: United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Saudi Arabic and India, with a head count of 100 people in 12 boutiques and 4 concessions

As the Human Resource Manager of the Middle East and India, it will be his/her job to:
Develop and implement HR strategy for the region based on the corporate culture and the Organisation’s short, medium and long-term business objectives.

Ensure that the Regional HR initiatives, policies and programmes have a positive influence on how the business is developed. To identify any organisational barriers or weaknesses that may affect the team’s productivity, commitment and/or development and promote initiatives that result in positive changes in talent attraction, management and loyalty.

Act as advisor and coach to the Management team, identifying any problems related to the team and its management being an influence towards positive organisational change.

Main Responsibilities :

Taking a leading role in the development of activities and components of the HR department, ensuring that they are implemented in accordance with the organisational strategy
Managing all talent management activities such as acquisition, Training and development, performance management, retention, career paths and development, equal employment strategy, conflict management and resolution, internal communication, working environment, corporate social responsibility, internal policies, HR database and IT systems;
Dealing with Chalhoub shared services for personnel administration
In regard of the complexity of the Region, handling any disciplinary issues with Chalhoub shared service help and advices;
Coaching the management team, in order to ensure that the team’s management and development are optimal and in line with the strategies of the Company and the HR department, and that HR policies are effectively and consistently implemented in their functional areas in line with established budgets and standards;
Preparing and following the annual payroll budget; sending some regular HR reports to both Finance and Compensation & Benefits departments in Paris; preparing R1 and R2;
Preparing and managing the overall HR budget which includes recruitment, training, team building, etc.
Passing on to the regional retail team both culture and values of the Group; improving selection of future collaborators in regard of this culture and those values while keeping a focus on their abilities to provide the best customer service;
Representing the organisation in interactions with third parties such as other companies, government bodies, and associations.
Ideal Profile

University or Business School Degree
Previous Experience within Luxury in a Leadership Role in Human Resources
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Retail experience mandatory
