Job description :

- Review advisory alerts, escalations and provide technical recommendations to CPM’s and external customers through case resolution process. These escalations include issues with trips, vibration, combustion, dynamics, wheel-space, bearing temperature, thermal performance and other auxiliary KPIs at a plant level via managed software solutions such as Predix APM and Operations Excellence.
- Interface with GE Power Services Global Technical Centers of Excellence, and Principle Engineers for:
- Operational issues requiring further technical review.
- Communicating and cross collaboration between customer engineers (via in-person technical discussions, email, telephone, and escalation tools and power plant visits as required) on technical alerts received for their equipment on a periodic basis and drive them to closure via parodic reporting.
- Owning all technical recommendations from M&D to make sure they are communicated to the concerned groups in a timely manner and reviewed on a periodic basis for closure.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- Bachelor of Engineering (strong preference for ME, EE, AE, and Power Plant Eng.).
- Strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, operations, maintenance, and trouble shooting.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in machinery diagnostics, services engineering, field services and/or product design.
- 5 to 7 Years field experience in power plant installation, operation, startup and maintenance
Gas turbine mechanical background with a solid understanding of GT systems and configuration
Comfortable with customer interface.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of resolution to customer technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strongcomputer skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in rotating equipment and/or GE turbomachinery products.
