Job Description
Raytheon is seeking an Assistant Office Manager to support our location in Algiers. In this capacity, you will report directly to the Office Manager. Job duties include performing a full range of administrative/logistical functions to successfully maintain the team’s in-country operations, including the coordination of US team visits (travel arrangement, scheduling meetings, logistics, etc.) and frequent interactions with customers and vendors as the Raytheon Company representative. This role also demands the ability to interpret on behalf of the US program team and senior-level customer representatives. A successful candidate must be able to use their own initiative and direction to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision, demonstrating a solution-driven approach.
This position will entail handling business details of a confidential, proprietary, and critical nature in accordance with company practices. This position is critical for program operation and in-country execution. This individual, once selected, will obtain a DSP-5 license to handle program data, in accordance with EX/IM regulations.
This position can be a G09-G10 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.

Responsibilities :

Assist the office manager with Algeria-based office operations, reporting to US based program office.
Primary in-country liaison for US based operation. Responsible for managing logistics between the customer and our in-country team
Assist the office manager with being a primary point of contact for senior level customer representatives. Candidate must be able to communicate concisely and effectively with higher levels management
Candidate must be able to coordinate, and provide French-English interpretation, including technical content, during customer meetings
Coordinate and arrange travel and logistics in Algeria
Managing in-country operations staff
Translation of customer correspondences in support of operations
Ensure Compliance with EX/IM regulations for in-country office
Basic Requirements
6+ years’ experience in an Administrative role and/or Logistics experience
Capable of organizing logistics associated with personnel travel (hotels, flights….)
Bilingual communication skills in French and English
Capable of basic translation and interpretation of French/English

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or multiple years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Two years related work experience can substitute for one year of education)
