Planning Executive

Descriptif du poste


Provide tactical and strategic counsel & insight to the Marketing Leadership Team & TM&D organisation to support effective business decision making.
Translate market insights & marketing research into accurate & scientific forecasts that forms the keystone of an effective integrated business planning cycle.
Ensure the development of an integrated cycle plan (brand and trade activities) consistent with consumer and customer segment needs
Contribute to the strategic planning process through the delivery of accurate & realistic long-term forecasts.
Continuously provide and implement clear plans to ensure brands availability and freshness in all trade channels with zero tolerance for Out-Of-Stocks.
Support the development of brand and trade programs increasing effectiveness and efficiency of planning.
Support the development of Coplan and input to SOP by providing timely information on sales volume, demand forecasts, segment share projections.
Satisfy periodic and ad hoc marketing information requirements on time and in full.
Maintain a central reporting database for Marketing, effectively supporting informed decision making.
Track & report on marketing performance.
Continuously look for innovative approaches to strategy development, refinement and communication.

Internal End Market / Marketing Functions; Area SP&I team;
External Close working relationships with market information suppliers in order to collect in-depth high-quality data for the development of market insights.
University graduate with Bachelor in Marketing, Statics or Economics.
Ideally not less than two years' experience in Planning & Demand with a focus on tobacco or a similar FMCG category.
Fluent English language ability.
Highly IT literate.
In depth working knowledge of advanced statistical and forecasting techniques. Should be capable of both building and validating relational models.
good understanding of both short and long term forecasting processes.
Experience of interpreting and analysing marketing information data and reading trends and eventual presentation and communication of conclusions to senior management in an effective way for adequate response.
High level of attention to detail, thorough analytical skills, rational decision making, objectivity, creativity and good negotiation capacity.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills and being a ‘team player’ is essential.
A high level understanding of the products, customer base, market place and the manufacturing system.
Effective communication, presentation and facilitation.
